Exciting news!

Audiobooks transformed my life as a reader. Particularly once I had children, I struggled to carve out time to sit and read. Most nights, my brain was simply too tired to decipher words on a page. But there was this one book with a beautiful cover – The Poet X by Elizabeth Acevedo – that I was craving to read. When I saw that Ms. Acevedo narrated the novel herself, I picked up the audiobook. Since then, I’ve read dozens of books while driving to and from work, doing the dishes, breastfeeding. Narration makes books accessible to a more diverse group of readers, and it brings its own unique artistic element.

Naturally, I’ve dreamed of hearing my own story narrated, and over the past year, a lot of you have asked me if I have plans for an audiobook for I am Z(arah). I’ve heard you, and I spent the past months working with the talented Jaimee Moore, who has brought Zarah, Greg, and the whole cast to life. Today, I’m thrilled to share I am Z(arah) with you!
